    JUNIOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

    • The Junior Leadership Program, established in 1998, has seen well over two hundred young members graduate, with many of those graduates taking on leadership roles within our clubs and the Southern Tasmanian Netball Association itself.

      Purpose

      The Junior Leadership Program has been designed to empower junior players with the skills, confidence, and real-world experience they need to lead both on and off the court. Through a dynamic blend of mentorship, interactive workshops, and hands-on project work, this program aims to transform potential into action. Over 12 weeks, participants will not only learn from experts but also collaborate on meaningful initiatives that strengthen our clubs and enrich the wider community. The program isn’t just about learning skills—it’s about leading, applying, and creating change.

      Learning Outcomes

      Through this program, participants will gain knowledge on a variety of subjects relating to netball and beyond. By the end of the program, we expect participants will have gained a greater knowledge in the following areas;

      • Communication

      • Clarity & Leadership Styles

      • Confidence

      • Women in Leadership

      • The Importance of Culture
