At STNA we encourage everyone, young and old to give umpiring a go! We start off our new umpires on primary school games where everyone is learning – then as they progress they can start umpiring other rosters like High School, Winter Roster and Spring Roster.

Our aim is to create a non-threatening environment for our umpires where they feel free to be able to make, then correct mistakes and learn from them. In our primary and spring rosters we provide umpires with older more experienced umpires who will mentor them and make the experience a little less scary!
